Product Description
The 066-1034-11 is a BendixKing KT-78 Mode C ATC transponder for aircraft instrument panels. This panel-mount unit transmits coded identification and altitude data to ground surveillance radar in response to interrogation signals. The transponder interfaces with an encoder to provide accurate altitude reporting and meets U.S.
airspace requirements under 14 CFR 91.215. Installation requires connection to power, encoder input, and antenna systems per aircraft maintenance manuals and 14 CFR 91.413 testing standards.
