The 2000-00057 is a semiconductor diode for aircraft electrical systems, controlling unidirectional current flow and suppressing voltage spikes. Installed across starter solenoids and relay coils, this diode protects avionics and control circuits from back-EMF surges that occur when inductive loads de-energize. Procured to MIL-PRF-19500 specifications with JAN/JANTX/JANTXV assurance levels for high-reliability aviation service.
Proper orientation per aircraft wiring diagram is critical for function. Verify voltage and current ratings against system requirements before installation.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Avionics compatibility depends on your aircraft model and existing installation. The DIODE is available in: New Surplus. We recommend checking your aircraft's wiring diagrams and STC documentation, or contact our avionics team for compatibility assistance.
Availability of an FAA 8130-3 tag depends on the part condition. Overhauled and repaired units typically include 8130-3 documentation. As-removed units may include a removal tag with trace history. Contact us for specific documentation on the condition you need.
We can arrange bench testing through our network of FAA-certified repair stations. Call (904) 998-9101 for testing availability and turnaround times, or submit an RFQ with your specific requirements.
