The 3-200-3 is a mechanical suction gauge that measures vacuum-system pressure in inches of mercury. It monitors the suction output from engine-driven vacuum pumps powering gyroscopic flight instruments like attitude and heading indicators. The gauge displays readings against a marked normal operating range, allowing pilots and technicians to verify adequate vacuum during preflight checks and in-flight operation.
Install per aircraft maintenance manual specifications and service if readings fall outside the instrument's designated range, indicating potential vacuum system degradation or instrument malfunction.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
