The 302-0640-100 is a nonmetallic insulator washer that electrically isolates fasteners from aircraft structure. Constructed from nylon or phenolic material, this washer prevents galvanic corrosion and unwanted electrical continuity at mounting points. Install between screw heads or nuts and equipment to maintain electrical isolation during assembly.
