The 40-0100-1 is a Grimes tandem-oscillating navigational light assembly for external aircraft signaling and anti-collision awareness. This rotating-beacon equivalent features synchronized dual-lamp oscillation to enhance visibility during low-light and nighttime operations. Mounted on fuselage or tail surfaces and integrated into the aircraft lighting circuit, the assembly operates per FAA requirements in 14 CFR Parts 23, 25, and 27.
