The 40hf40 is a silicon stud-mount rectifier diode designed for aircraft electrical systems. This component converts alternating current to direct current and blocks reverse current in DC bus and charging circuits. The diode mounts directly to a heatsink using specified torque to manage thermal dissipation during operation.
Installation requires correct polarity orientation per the aircraft maintenance manual and device datasheet. MIL-PRF-19500 screening may be required depending on your aircraft's certification and maintenance documentation.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
