The 450-611 is a panel-mounted pressure altimeter that displays aircraft altitude by measuring static air pressure. Connected to the aircraft's static system, it provides the pilot's primary altitude reference with a barometric setting window for pressure adjustments. This flight instrument is FAA TSO-C10b certified and requires calibration testing per 14 CFR 91.411 and Part 43 Appendix E.
The altimeter mounts in standard instrument panel cutouts and interfaces directly with static pressure lines from the pitot-static system.
