Product Description
The 55d120 is an altitude digitizer that converts static-system pressure altitude into digital signals for Mode C/S transponder reporting. It translates continuous pressure data into Gillham (Gray) code format, enabling aircraft altitude information to reach ATC surveillance and ADS-B systems. Installed between the aircraft static line and transponder interface, this unit conforms to FAA TSO-C88 requirements.
Installation and testing must follow the applicable aircraft maintenance manual and comply with 14 CFR 91.217 transponder regulations.
