The 577-17f is an aircraft air check valve that permits one-way airflow while blocking reverse flow in pneumatic systems. This aluminum or stainless steel valve protects downstream components from pressure backflow and system contamination. Installed in pneumatic lines to isolate equipment, the valve must be oriented in the indicated flow direction per aircraft maintenance manual specifications.
Common in environmental control, landing gear, and brake system applications on general and commercial aircraft. Installation follows FAA AC 43.13 acceptable practices and requires verification in the aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the AIR CHECK VALVE against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The AIR CHECK VALVE is available in: As Removed. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
