The 622-7318-001 is a Collins Aerospace IND-42C DME indicator for cockpit distance measurement. This panel-mounted instrument displays slant-range distance and computed groundspeed from a paired DME-42 or DME-442 transceiver. Operating on 28 VDC, the indicator provides real-time navigation data for en-route and approach operations.
Installed in the instrument panel per DME-42 installation manual specifications. Commonly found in Citation V and other Collins DME-equipped aircraft. The indicator interfaces directly with the transceiver unit to deliver accurate distance readouts during flight operations.
