The 6800-100-80-10 is a battery temperature monitor for aircraft electrical systems. This sensor detects battery temperature during charging cycles and triggers overtemperature warnings when limits are exceeded. Installed in the battery compartment or electrical bay, it feeds data to the charger control unit or flight deck annunciator.
Meets 14 CFR 25.1353(b)(6) requirements for nickel-cadmium battery thermal management. Installation follows aircraft maintenance manual procedures and qualifies to RTCA DO-160 environmental standards for airborne equipment reliability.
