The 757-899 is a pneumatic air filter element for avionics vacuum systems on Piper PA-30 and PA-39 Twin Comanche aircraft. This filter removes particulates and contaminants from the pneumatic supply feeding flight instruments, protecting sensitive vacuum-operated gauges and autopilot components from damage. The element uses a pleated filter media design to maintain airflow while capturing debris.
Installation follows the aircraft maintenance manual and FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance. Replace when restricted per maintenance schedules or after inspection reveals contamination. Produced under FAA Production Certificate authorization.
