The 79-3 is a metal bleeder screw designed to vent trapped air from hydraulic brake systems during maintenance. Installed on brake calipers or master cylinders, it opens to allow fluid flow and air purge, then reseals the circuit when tightened. Commonly used on Cleveland wheel-and-brake assemblies in general and corporate aircraft.
The screw opens briefly during servicing to eliminate air pockets that can compromise braking performance, then closes to maintain system integrity. Installation and torque specifications follow the applicable aircraft maintenance manual or illustrated parts catalog.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
