The 7G782 is an aircraft pressure switch that triggers an electrical circuit when hydraulic or pneumatic pressure reaches a defined setpoint. Used in hydraulic pressure monitoring circuits to illuminate cockpit annunciators and alert flight crews to system conditions. The switch closes its electrical contacts at the specified pressure threshold, completing the circuit to activate warning lights or indicators on the flight deck.
Installation and wiring must follow the aircraft maintenance manual and FAA AC 43.13-1B acceptable practices. Qualified to RTCA DO-160 environmental standards for airborne equipment.
