The 822-1294-032 is a Collins TTR-4000 TCAS II processor (Change 7.1) that computes aircraft traffic surveillance data and generates resolution advisories. This avionics component interfaces with Mode S transponders and cockpit displays to issue Traffic Advisories (TAs) and Resolution Advisories (RAs) to flight crews. It conforms to RTCA DO-185B and FAA TSO-C119 series standards for TCAS II equipment.
Installed in the avionics bay, the processor requires integration with existing transponder systems and cockpit interfaces. Installation and return-to-service must follow the applicable aircraft STC and maintenance manual procedures.
