The 8406e is a Stewart-Warner engine oil cooler that removes heat from engine oil through an air-to-oil heat exchanger. As engine oil circulates through the cooler core, ambient air flowing across aluminum fins dissipates thermal energy, maintaining optimal oil temperature during flight.
