The 8432-1 is a stick pusher assembly that automatically drives the control column forward when angle of attack approaches stall limits. This electromechanical actuator works in conjunction with angle-of-attack sensors and a stall protection computer to provide tactile stall warning and prevention. Installed in the control-column elevator control path, it engages before aerodynamic stall occurs, pushing the nose down to restore safe airflow.
Installation and rigging must follow aircraft maintenance manual procedures and approved data. Commonly paired with a stick shaker for comprehensive stall protection on aircraft equipped with active stall prevention systems.
