Product Description
The 89258-005 is a cartridge fuse for aircraft electrical circuit protection. This nonresettable device interrupts power when overcurrent conditions occur, preventing damage to avionics and flight systems. Installed in aircraft fuse panels, it provides single-use protection following MIL-PRF-15160 specifications.
When an electrical fault or surge exceeds the fuse rating, the internal element melts and breaks the circuit, requiring replacement. Installation follows the aircraft maintenance manual and FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance. Compatible with standard aviation fuse holders.
