The a-712na is an electromechanical relay/contactor for switching high-current DC power in aircraft electrical systems. A low-current coil signal controls heavy loads such as battery circuits and starter motor paths. This contactor uses electromagnetic actuation to close or open contacts, isolating or connecting power as needed.
Conforms to MIL-PRF-6106 performance standards. Installation requires verification of coil voltage and contact ratings, then wiring per the aircraft maintenance manual and FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance.
