Product Description
The AN320C4 is a 1/4-28 UNF slotted hexagon shear nut machined from corrosion-resistant steel. Castellated slots accept a cotter pin for positive retention under vibration and shear loading. Designed for drilled fasteners in aircraft control linkages, push-pull tubes, and structural connections where safety-wiring is required.
Installation involves threading onto a drilled shank and securing the cotter pin through the castellations. Conforms to AN320 military standard specifications for aerospace fastening applications.
