Product Description
The AN363-428 is an all-metal self-locking hex nut with 1/4-28 threads and prevailing-torque design. This steel nut maintains bolt tension in high-temperature environments up to 450°F, making it suitable for engine compartment and firewall installations where nylon-insert nuts fail. The self-locking feature eliminates the need for safety wire or lock washers.
Install on undrilled bolts and torque per aircraft maintenance manual specifications. Equivalent to MS21045-4.
