The AN365-624 is a steel hex self-locking nut with a nylon insert designed for prevailing-torque retention in aircraft fastening applications. This nut resists vibration-induced loosening through its nylon collar, which creates friction when threaded onto matching AN bolts. Commonly used to secure Adel clamps and other hardware assemblies throughout aircraft structures.
The nylon insert maintains effectiveness up to 250°F. Installation requires matching the nut to AN-specification bolts and torquing per your aircraft maintenance manual. Verify part compatibility with your Illustrated Parts Catalog before use.
