Product Description

The AN4060-1 is a plug protector for aircraft electrical connectors, designed to shield unmated plug faces from debris and moisture during maintenance and storage. This protective cap seats over the connector interface to prevent foreign object damage (FOD) and environmental contamination. Commonly used with circular mil-spec connectors following MIL-DTL-5015 or MIL-DTL-38999 standards.

In MRO operations, technicians install the protector by seating it over disconnected plugs and securing per the applicable connector specification and aircraft maintenance manual. Essential for maintaining connector integrity during ground operations and long-term aircraft storage.

Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
