The AN818-5D is a flared tube coupling nut (B-nut) for aircraft fluid line connections. This steel nut secures a 37° flared tube to a mating fitting, creating a metal-to-metal seal that prevents leaks in fuel, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Sized for 5/16-inch outside diameter tubing with 1/2-20 UNF threads, it meets AN818/SAE AS5175 specifications.
