The ca24100-1b is a thermal relief valve for aircraft hydraulic systems. This metal-bodied valve automatically vents excess pressure to return when trapped hydraulic lines experience temperature-induced pressure buildup. Installed between hydraulic components and shutoff points, it protects actuators and system integrity during heat soak conditions.
The valve opens at a preset pressure threshold, preventing overpressure damage to downstream components. Install and safety-wire per aircraft maintenance manual specifications. Verify applicability in the Illustrated Parts Catalog before installation.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the VALVE, THERMAL RELIEF against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The VALVE, THERMAL RELIEF is available in: Serviceable, As Removed. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
