Product Description
The ca259-1c is a fire extinguisher valve assembly for aircraft fire-suppression systems. When an electro-explosive cartridge (squib) fires, this valve directs pressurized extinguishing agent from the bottle through system plumbing to the protected area. Installed on engine or APU fire-bottle assemblies, it interfaces with detection controls and discharge lines.
The valve assembly must be verified for IPC compatibility and installed per aircraft AMM and component maintenance manual requirements to meet 14 CFR 25.851 fire-protection standards.
