The cm2640l4 is an airspeed indicator that displays indicated airspeed (IAS) by measuring differential pressure between pitot and static lines. Installed in the aircraft instrument panel, it provides critical airspeed data for takeoff, climb, cruise, and approach phases. The instrument connects directly to the pitot-static system and is FAA-certified under TSO-C2 standards.
After installation or following static system maintenance, perform required static system tests per 14 CFR 91.411 to ensure accuracy and airworthiness compliance.
