The cr2249-6-6 is a Cherry Aerospace CherryMAX blind rivet with universal head design, conforming to NAS1738 specifications. This aluminum rivet features a self-plugging, mechanically locked stem for one-sided fastening where backside access is unavailable. Installed in aircraft skins and secondary structures using approved blind-rivet tools, the rivet creates a permanent mechanical joint without requiring access to both sides.
