The KNR-665 is a VHF navigation receiver that provides VOR and localizer (LOC) signal reception for aircraft navigation systems. The KNR-665A variant adds glideslope capability for precision approaches. This avionics unit interfaces with BendixKing indicators, RMI, and HSI displays to deliver course and needle guidance data to the flight deck.
The receiver processes VHF navigation signals and outputs compatible data streams for cockpit display integration. Installation requires adherence to BendixKing technical documentation and applicable airframe STCs. Commonly found in general aviation and business aircraft equipped with integrated VHF navigation systems.
