Product Description
The lw2014 is a Nulite instrument lighting system that illuminates cockpit flight instruments from behind the panel. A light wedge sandwiches between each instrument and the panel face, providing even backlighting for airspeed indicators, altimeters, and other dial gauges. FAA-PMA approved and compatible with existing aircraft dimming circuits, allowing pilots to adjust brightness during day and night operations.
Installation requires wiring to the dimmable electrical bus and a logbook entry documenting the modification. Qualified maintenance personnel should perform electrical load analysis per FAA guidance before installation.
