The mdx3 is an aviation fuse that protects aircraft electrical circuits from overcurrent conditions. When current exceeds design limits, the fuse element opens the circuit, preventing damage to avionics, instrumentation, and distribution systems. This protective device conforms to MIL-PRF-23419 or MIL-F-15160 performance standards for aerospace applications.
Installed at the distribution bus or branch circuit location, the mdx3 safeguards against electrical faults and component failures. Installation and selection should follow aircraft wiring manuals and FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance for proper circuit protection.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
