The ms18029-11s-9 is an insulated terminal board cover conforming to MS18029/SAE AS18029 specifications. Designed for MS27212 terminal board assemblies, this cover shields live terminals from accidental contact, short circuits, mechanical damage, and arcing in aircraft electrical systems. The phenolic or fiberglass-reinforced material provides electrical insulation while allowing wire passage through designated openings.
Installed in avionics bays and junction areas, it protects critical electrical connections during maintenance and operation. Installation follows aircraft maintenance manual procedures and approved wiring practices after verifying IPC compatibility.
