The MS21059L06 is a self-locking nutplate with two lugs and #6-32 internal threads, manufactured from steel. This floating nutplate uses prevailing-torque retention to resist vibration loosening in aircraft structures. Installed behind panels or brackets where backside access is limited, it accepts #6-32 machine screws for blind fastening.
Mount the nutplate with two rivets, then tighten fasteners per aircraft maintenance manual specifications. Commonly used in fuselage, wing, and empennage assemblies where secure, vibration-resistant fastening is required without access to the rear surface.
