Product Description
The MS27151-28 is a spring-steel PAC (pal) nut conforming to Military Standard MS27151. This stamped locknut provides secondary retention on threaded fasteners, resisting loosening from engine vibration and operational stress. Installed against a primary nut on engine and accessory studs, the PAC nut locks in place through spring tension and deformation.
It replaces the earlier AC356 specification in modern aircraft maintenance. Torque and installation follow aircraft maintenance manual guidance and MS27151 specifications for proper load distribution and security.
