The ms28893-d6-3450 is a hydraulic relief valve conforming to MS28893 (MIL-V-8813) specifications. This spring-loaded poppet valve automatically vents excess pressure from aircraft hydraulic systems, protecting lines and components from overpressure damage. Sized for 3/8 OD tubing connections, it installs directly in hydraulic supply lines.
The valve opens when system pressure exceeds the set threshold, allowing fluid to return to the reservoir. Installation requires positioning in the main hydraulic circuit per aircraft maintenance manual procedures and setting the relief pressure to manufacturer specifications.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the VALVE - HYDRAULIC RELIEF, 3/8 OD T against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The VALVE - HYDRAULIC RELIEF, 3/8 OD T is available in: Serviceable. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
