Product Description
The pd-40 is a threaded protective plug for 37° flared JIC tube fittings used in aircraft hydraulic systems. Constructed from polyethylene, this plug caps JIC -4 fittings during maintenance, storage, or MRO operations to prevent contamination and fluid loss. Install finger-tight on clean threads following SAE J514 geometry specifications.
Remove before pressurizing the system. Ideal for temporary port sealing on aircraft fluid lines when components are disconnected.
