The SA-40-1RB is an airspeed indicator for aircraft instrument panels, displaying indicated airspeed on a 0–180 knot scale via the pitot-static system. This FAA TSO-C2d approved gauge monitors aircraft speed during climb, cruise, and approach phases. The instrument features a standard 3-inch panel-mount case with internal mechanism calibrated to aviation standards.
Installation requires connection to aircraft pitot and static ports per the maintenance manual, followed by pitot-static system checks and range marking verification. Essential for safe flight operations and required on most certified aircraft.
