The tms3-16-48 is a heat-shrink identification sleeve for marking aircraft wiring conductors and cables. Made from crosslinked polyolefin with a ladder-format printing surface, this sleeve slides over individual wires or small cable bundles before shrinking to create permanent labels. Used throughout avionics looms and wire harnesses to identify circuit functions, voltage levels, and routing information during assembly and maintenance.
After printing and positioning, the sleeve shrinks when heated to form a secure, tamper-resistant marker that withstands vibration and environmental exposure in aircraft systems.
