The TMS3-32-48 is a cross-linked polyolefin heat-shrink marker sleeve for wire and cable identification in aircraft harnesses. This sleeve meets SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 material requirements and SAE AS5942/MIL-STD-202 Method 215 mark-permanence standards. Installation involves printing identification markings, sliding the sleeve over the conductor near connectors, and applying heat to shrink it permanently in place.
Used during aircraft production and MRO maintenance to label individual wires and ensure proper circuit identification throughout the harness assembly.
