The tu3006 is a silicon diode for one-way current control and transient suppression in aircraft DC circuits. Installed across relay and contactor coils, it blocks inductive voltage spikes that can damage switches and avionics during coil de-energization. Military-grade construction follows MIL-PRF-19500 screening standards for high-reliability aviation service.
Observe polarity during installation and route per aircraft wiring diagrams and AC 43.13-1B guidance. Common in electrical control circuits throughout general aviation and corporate aircraft.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
