The 05-01869 is a Curtis CCA-1550 quick drain valve with a brass body and push-to-open, lock-closed mechanism. Installed at fuel tank sump drain ports, it allows pilots and technicians to sample fuel and drain systems during preflight checks and maintenance. The valve connects to a 1/8-inch NPT drain port per manufacturer specifications.
FAA TSO-C76 certification covers fuel system applications. Push the valve to open for drainage, then release to lock closed, preventing accidental spillage. Standard installation on general aviation and corporate aircraft fuel systems.
