The KTR-953 receiver/exciter (064-1015-01) is the HF transceiver component for BendixKing KHF-950 communications systems. Operating across 2–30 MHz, it provides receive functions and transmitter drive for long-range aircraft HF radio installations. The unit integrates with the KAC-952 antenna coupler and KCU-951 or KFS-594 control units to form complete HF systems on corporate and commercial aircraft.
Available in standard and SELCAL-equipped configurations with alternate bandwidth options. Installation and return-to-service must follow the applicable aircraft maintenance manual and FAA TSO airworthiness requirements.
