The 071-1348-00 is an ADF loop/sense antenna assembly combining directional loop and non-directional sense elements in a single low-profile housing. This Bombardier Learjet OEM part resolves the 180° bearing ambiguity inherent in loop-only ADF systems, enabling accurate navigation to NDB (non-directional beacon) stations. The antenna mounts externally on the aircraft fuselage with proper electrical bonding to the airframe.
