The 101-8001-21 is a piston insulator for aircraft wheel brake assemblies, thermally isolating the hydraulic piston and seals during braking operations. This component reduces heat transfer from the brake friction surface to internal hydraulic components, protecting seals and maintaining system performance under high-temperature conditions. Installed within the brake piston assembly on Beech 300 aircraft and other compatible models.
Installation follows wheel brake maintenance manual procedures; verify compatibility with the aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalog before installation. NSN 1680-01-306-4764.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
