Product Description
The 11378 is a stamped steel palnut designed to resist fastener loosening under vibration. This thin locknut installs against a standard nut or directly on a stud, creating a secondary locking action through spring tension and friction. Spring steel construction provides reliable performance in aircraft structural assemblies, bracket installations, and high-vibration environments.
The palnut's compact profile allows it to function as a jam nut in confined spaces where traditional locking methods are impractical. Installation follows standard aerospace practices per AC 43.13-1B guidance.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
