The 1200006-005 is a SELCAL decoder that automatically detects assigned two-tone selective-calling codes transmitted over HF or VHF radio channels. When a matching code is received, the decoder alerts the flight crew through visual and audio signals, eliminating the need for continuous radio monitoring during long-range flights. The unit interfaces directly with aircraft transceivers and complies with ARINC 714 and FAA TSO-C59 standards.
Installation requires integration with the avionics system per the aircraft maintenance manual, including proper wiring connections and functional testing before operational use.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
