The 20-3940-e104201 is a solid-state busbar diode that isolates aircraft DC electrical buses and prevents reverse current flow between power sources. This semiconductor device enables essential-bus alternate feed architectures by allowing one-way current from a main bus to an essential bus while blocking backflow. Installed between bus bars in aircraft electrical distribution systems, it protects against power source conflicts during multi-generator operation.
Installation follows aircraft maintenance manual specifications and FAA AC 43.13-1B electrical practices for proper integration into the aircraft's power distribution network.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Avionics compatibility depends on your aircraft model and existing installation. The BUSBAR DIODE is available in: New Surplus. We recommend checking your aircraft's wiring diagrams and STC documentation, or contact our avionics team for compatibility assistance.
Availability of an FAA 8130-3 tag depends on the part condition. Overhauled and repaired units typically include 8130-3 documentation. As-removed units may include a removal tag with trace history. Contact us for specific documentation on the condition you need.
We can arrange bench testing through our network of FAA-certified repair stations. Call (904) 998-9101 for testing availability and turnaround times, or submit an RFQ with your specific requirements.
