Product Description
The 200dc is an AIM electric directional gyro operating on 14 VDC power. It displays gyroscopically stabilized aircraft heading on a rotating compass card, eliminating dip and acceleration errors inherent to magnetic compasses. Installed in the primary instrument panel, this heading indicator serves VFR and IFR operations.
The gyro maintains directional reference during turns and maneuvers, requiring periodic synchronization with the magnetic compass during flight. Installation and alignment follow aircraft maintenance manual specifications for accurate heading display.
