The 215.25 is a 1/4-amp fuse designed to protect low-current aircraft electrical circuits from overcurrent conditions. This cartridge-style fuse interrupts power when circuit current exceeds 0.25 amps, preventing wire damage and potential fire hazards. Installed in an approved fuse holder mounted near the power bus or distribution panel.
Verify correct amperage rating and circuit location using the aircraft wiring diagram before installation. Complies with FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance for circuit protection devices in general aviation applications.
