The 21700-1001 is a thermal relief valve (7SC0127) for aircraft hydraulic systems. This valve automatically vents excess pressure caused by fluid thermal expansion in closed hydraulic lines, preventing overpressure conditions during temperature changes. Commonly installed in sealed sections of hydraulic circuits on business and transport aircraft.
The valve opens at a preset pressure threshold to release small fluid volumes, then reseals as pressure normalizes. Installation and testing must follow the applicable aircraft maintenance manual and component specifications.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the VALVE RELIEF, THERMAL, 7SC0127 against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The VALVE RELIEF, THERMAL, 7SC0127 is available in: As Removed. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
